The Odessa Family YMCA and Superior HealthPlan are proud to announce the organizations are partnering up to open a hygiene closet for the community. Superior HealthPlan has provided the Odessa Family YMCA with a $5,000 grant to organize and operate this closet at the Y’s central location, 3001 E University. This closet will be open to the public on the first Friday of every month, from 1:00PM to 3:00PM. This closet will be open to any families or individuals in need of basic items such as deodorant, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, feminine hygiene products, laundry soap, cleaning supplies and more.
“Our organization is always looking for ways to serve our community that we love so much,” said Crissy Medina, CEO/President of the Odessa Family YMCA. “We are so honored to collaborate with Superior HealthPlan to provide a new free service to local residents and families who need that extra help.”
