No matter your age, swimming is an activity that you can continue for a lifetime. Whether you’re looking for a cool summer activity with the family, a way to get healthy, or learning a life-saving skill, the Y offers something for everyone. Swimming teaches confidence, endurance, determination, teamwork, and much more. We are committed to your safety. All YMCA aquatics programs are conducted under the supervision of certified lifeguards and trained swim instructors.

Water Aerobics

Join our nationally certified instructors in the pool for a fun and challenging workout. Work at your own ability level during a variety of water exercise classes with the encouragement from friendly, welcoming classmates. Water exercise classes utilize the resistance and buoyancy of the water to improve cardiovascular fitness, strength, and flexibility. Our YMCA water exercise classes provide motivation, aerobic choreography, improved cardiovascular endurance, and muscle toning by using the buoyancy and resistance of the water. Non-swimmers welcome.

Lap Swim

Lap swim provides an opportunity for swimmers ages 12+ to work at their own pace and produces a full body workout suitable all any age teen – senior!
